Then, she was cast in the American sci-fi film Transformers Dark of the Moon. The film was the third installment in the Transformers film series. The film had a great commercial success, earning over $1 billion. The film received nominations multiple occasions for Oscars. A few years later the actress appeared as a character in Mad Max Fury Road. She was able to transition from modeling into an acting career following the film's success. In her career so far she has received several honors including the Elle Style Award Model of the Year Award in 2009 and in the Harper Bazaar Women of the Year Award for Model of the Year as well as Businesswoman of the Year in the years 2014 and 2016, respectively. Forbes declared her to be one of the most highly paid models in the world.
